The Roots Brooklyn reviews
Great and intimate experience
The first time I went to see Madonna at the Wiltern, I was seated at the mezz area and had the best view ever. Nobody really gets in front of you due to the fact that the seatings are spaced out like a stadium. I could see the whole stage and how the lightning affected and gave mood to the entire venue. The chair was ok, though. It was a little bent and the legroom is awful. Keep that in mind if you are really tall, I'm only 5'5 and many times I almost got stuck in my seat. The second time I saw her, I bought a seat on the floor 4 area and I hated it. People stand up all the time and the space is really cramped. The chairs were so small. The only good part was when The Roots left the stage and passed right next to where I was, it was the best experience ever. She wanted the air conditioning to be off, so the venue felt like a sauna. Too many drunk people were there, even though the majority of drinks were kinda expensive. I'd def control the alcohol more. I was bothered a lot by disrespectful drunk guests. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, Madonna at the Wiltern twice."
